WHAT IS
Youth With A Mission

Youth With A Mission (YWAM) is a global movement of Christians from many cultures, age groups, and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world.

With over 1,500 bases spread across 180 countries around the world, and over 20,000 volunteers, YWAM is one of the largest missions organizations in the world.

The heart of YWAM - to worship God, to serve God's global purposes, and to champion young people.

My Story
From the moment I accepted Jesus into my life at fourteen years old, I knew that I wanted to devote the rest of my life to full-time missions, and specifically Youth With A Mission (YWAM). Both my dad and mom spent their twenties serving with YWAM and after hearing all the crazy God-stories from their time in missions and the places they had traveled to bringing the hope of Jesus and serving in nations all around the world - I knew that that was all I wanted to do with my life. Now, at twenty six years old, and eight years deep into serving with YWAM - I am more confident and grateful then ever to be devoting my life to reaching the unreached and serving where needed around the world.
My YWAM Timeline
2017-2020
I lived in Australia where I completed my Discipleship Training School, School of Biblical Studies, and began my first year of staffing one of the Discipleship Training Schools.

2021-2024
I lived in Hawaii where I continued staffing full-time one of the Discipleship Training Schools. I also went to the Netherlands for three months to be a student in a YWAM course called Discipleship Bible School.

2025..
I moved to Norway where I am currently staffing a Discipleship Training School with a focus on families, couples, and singles over the age of thirty.

What is DTS
Discipleship Training School (DTS) is an opportunity to discover your passions and your part in God’s purposes for the world. It is for those who long to follow Jesus in new ways with a different perspective. The DTS is a six month program blending classroom learning, small group activities, personal reflection, practical service, and community living. In the lecture phase (three months) your focus will be on knowing God, His Word and His world. You will seek transformation, a renewed mind, and personal growth. You’ll learn not only from teachers but also from community living and practical training. During the outreach phase (three months following the lecture phase) your class will break up into teams to serve God out in the world. You will have a chance to discover your abilities as you care for people and share the good news of Jesus.
